Spotify introduced its low-capacity Lite mobile version

Spotify, the streaming music giant, decided to follow in the footsteps of Facebook, Instagram and Uber, and presented its "light" version for phones with little space and performance.

Spotify Lite does not take 100MB older brother but only 15 MB, and consumes less data as it decreases the quality of the music. In addition, it allows you to determine a monthly limit of the number of MB you want to consume with the application.

Regarding the interface, small changes simplify the design to save space and data, but the platform is familiar. "Clipping" is in the functions: you can not download music to listen to offline or choose specific songs to listen to, but they are played randomly.

There is no audio option in high quality, there are no subject lists and you can not share music with third-party devices or media players like Chromecast.

The new app is not intended for premium users who pay for the service, but for those who use free accounts. It is already available for Android, although it is regionally limited to Brazil. However, you can download the APK Mirror.
