The Supreme Court of Justice of Venezuela (TSJ) today decided to freeze the accounts of the Acting President of the Republic appointed by Parliament, Juan Guaidó, by prohibiting him the purchase of real estate and personal, as well as leaving the country, according to official information.

The TSJ, controlled by Chavismo, has adopted this decision tonight – reported to the press by its owner, Maikel Moreno – several hours after the request of the Attorney General, Tarek Saab, also chaviste, reported the EFE news agency .

Neither Saab nor the TSJ decided that a warrant for arrest should be issued against Guaidó, while the prosecutor accused him of "leading all this action impeding the Venezuelan constitution", reference to his oath of office as president.
