SWAT agents foil possible attack at major U.S. baseball game: employee key trick and shocking arsenal seized

The police alert of a hotel worker in Denver, U.S.A., averted what could have been a try at an important baseball game. SWAT group special agents found 16 long guns, bulletproof vests and more 1000 ammunition in a resort room that overlooks downtown Denver. It is located in meters of Coors Field, home of the 2021 All-Star Game.

There is four inmates after the discovery of the impressive arsenal, which the police suspect to have been used for a Las Vegas-type attack in 2017. In October of the same year Stephen Craig Paddock shot from his hotel room in Mandala Bay to a crowd at a country music concert. Killed 59 people and injured about 800.

Based on information reported by a hotel employee, police raided a room in Denver. He found a large amount of guns in a room that has a balcony overlooking downtown and is near Coors Field baseball stadium.

The inmates are Richard Platt, Gabriel Rodríguez, Ricardo Rodríguez and Kanoelehua Serikawa. One of them is in the process of divorce and anticipated on his Facebook account that he was going “Come out big”, according to police sources cited by The Denver Canal.

The local police underlined in a statement the opinion which defused a possible attack: “The investigation and the arrests were the result of a track citizens, which is an excellent example of the fundamental role that the community plays in public safety ”.

They asked Denver residents and tourists to “Always pay attention” what they see and that if they notice any illegal or suspicious activity, they report it “immediately”.

The Las Vegas Massacre

Denver Police suspect that there may have been a fierce attack like October 2017 in Las Vegas. At this point, Paddock pulled from his hotel room to more than 20,000 Spectators at an outdoor country music concert. It left 59 dead and more than 800 injured.

The elite group police had to use explosives to smash the door to the room from which the attack began. When they entered the room, they detected that the assailant had committed suicide.

In October of last year, a U.S. court approved the payment of 800 million US dollars compensation by reaching an agreement between thousands of possible complainants for the attack, since the hotel did not detect the large amount of weapons that Paddock was storing in the room.
