Teacher suffered the death of her son and her students camped at her home in support

A tragedy in Brazil showed an act of love that a group of former students had with a teacher and her daughter. Karenn Ramísia lost his son João, eight years old, in a traffic accident and went into a deep emotional crisis. Seeing this, a group of students camped at home so as not to leave her alone.

According to the Brazilian site Reasons to believe, the child was hit by a truck on January 4, 2020 while cycling in Imbituba, south of Santa Catarina. His grandfather witnessed the incident.

The 46-year-old teacher and her eldest daughter Luiza, 20 years old, as well as the grandparents of the victim, received a wave of discord and love from his affections.

The ex-classmates of the teenager they moved into the family home to provide emotional support. They also took care to bring them lunch, dinner and some treats to pamper them.

Meanwhile, the families of the young people collected money and they paid for therapy sessions and Karenn. “When I despair of nostalgia, I read the messages of young women who hug us every day, ”the woman said.

And he counted: “My dad saw the whole hit and run scene, and my mother arrived shortly after. To take care of my parents, who the early days couldn’t stand, girls used to tell jokes, do Reiki, give life to the house ”.

About João, Karenn admitted: “He believed in Santa Claus“. And he described it as a boy who loved childhood games and that “he did not access social networks” or online games.

A year and four months after João’s death, Karenn dreams of writing a book on your experience, with which you can help other families who are going through a similar situation.

“The therapists help me think about write about my grieving process and all the support I get. They think that I can help other moms that they experience the same pain and that they draw everyone’s attention to the importance of life and of usefulness to others, ”he told Brazilian media.

A campaign in search of justice

According to the media ND +, Karenn and her daughter launched a campaign on crowdfunding Vakinha to raise funds for advertising campaigns in the region of Imbituba, Garopaba and Tubarão, to raise awareness. “It wasn’t an accident, it was a traffic crime and it cost the life of an innocent man, ”the victim’s family said.

The fundraising goal is 15,000 reais and they’ve already reached 13,585, so they don’t miss that much. For the moment, already they managed to install 11 posters in the zone.

The accident

At the time of the accident, the truck driver who crushed the boy was 64 and He assured that he had not seen her. The accident occurred while the driver was a maneuver to throw the sand. After what happened, the man was transferred to the Imbituba police station.

The scene it was rebuilt four months later and the investigation is still open. “The scenario has already been modified, since the bush has grown a lot. The street was flooded because it had rained the day before and all possible marks have disappeared, ”said the woman. And he added: “Also, depending on the season, it was already dark, but when João died it was daylight all day.”
