Teenager died after falling from 12th floor trying to grab phone

A 16-year-old teenager has died after falling from the 12th floor of a building trying to grab the phone that slipped out of his hands. It happened in the Gokevler district in the Turkish city of Istanbul.

This is Ismail Ababey, who tragically fell from her apartment window while alone at home on March 1 at around 2:30 p.m. The footage was captured by the site’s security cameras.

Before the fatal fall, the young man is seen leaning out of a twelfth-floor window. Cameras recorded the moment he fell right behind an unsuspecting passer-by who immediately turns around and runs towards the body.

Ismail was found lying seriously injured but was still alive. Doctors rushed to the scene and desperately tried to revive him. He underwent CPR on the spot and was then taken to hospital, where he ultimately died.
