A mysterious silver monolith that inexplicably appeared in a remote area of ​​the Utah desert in the United States went missing less than 10 days after it was discovered by wildlife biologists during a helicopter study. The monolith was captured in Batca Doamnei Hill in the town of Piatra Neamt in Neamt County, northeast Romania, on November 26. No one knows how it got there as it is on private property and they were unable to contact the owner.

The metal structure was found a few meters from the city’s oldest historical monument – the famous Petrodava Dacian Fortress. It is believed that the fortress was destroyed by the Romans in the 2nd century AD, but parts of the city walls can still be seen.

The shiny triangular structure is around four meters high and one side faces Mount Ceahlau, known locally as the Sacred Mountain. It is one of the most famous mountains in Romania and is listed as one of the country’s Seven Natural Wonders.

Helicopter pilot Bret Hutchings, who was part of the group that discovered it, described it as “the strangest thing I have encountered in all my years of flying.”

He told local news channel KSL TV that his best guess was that she was put there by a “new wave artist.” Rocsana Josanu, Head of Culture and Heritage at Neamt, said: “We have started to investigate the odd appearance of the monolith. It is on private property, but we still don’t know who owns it. is in a protected area, on an archaeological site. ” .
