Terror on the lake: a hippo chased a motorboat

With the Kagera River as one of its main tributaries, the lake victoria It is the second largest freshwater lake in the world. This immense mirror of Central Africa is the habitat of thousands of hippos (Amphibious hippopotamus).

There, in the waters of Lake Victoria, more precisely in the area of ​​this reflecting pool that corresponds to Kenya, nature has shown signs of its power. And everything was recorded thanks to the quick reaction of a professional photographer.

While enjoying a walk with other tourists on Lake Victoria, Dicken Muchena picked up his cell phone and started recording part of the tour. As I focused on the heads of a group of four semi-submerged hippos, the unexpected happened.

As if to defend its territory, a fifth hippopotamus he started to swim at full speed towards his boat. As the captain put the engine into overdrive, the photographer made a saucepan to record the animal that stalked them.
