Friday June 25, a man was attacked by a shark who jumped out of the water as he parachuted into the middle of the Red Sea. After the attack, the 37-year-old lost part of his right foot.

“Sharks are found in all seas around the world, and in the Red Sea there are many types of sharks, but their presence in the Aqaba region is very rare,” Mohammed Khalil Al Zabada told Gulf News.
