The antecedent of the young man who almost beat to death a businesswoman in Brazil: he also attacked his disabled brother

The name and photo of Vinicio Batista Serra circulated Monday in all Brazilian media due to a case of gender-based violence that shook Rio de Janeiro. After opening an investigation against him for attempting to femicideit was learned on Wednesday that the 27-year-old lawyer had applied to his own disabled brother to a similar aggression.

Vinicio is undergoing judicial proceedings after being arrested this week in the department of a businesswoman to whom hit almost to death for four hours. The images of Elaine Caparroz's bloody face and her arms laden with beating and biting explain the level of aggression she has been subjected to.

It is not, as has been said, the first time that the teenager is denounced for violence, according to O Globo. The charges against him came from his own family. In February 2016, his father, Zacarías Batista de Lima, charged him with justice, after Assault his brother Diego without contemplation, who has a disability.

The two acts of violence that led Vinicio have one thing in common: He attacked his two victims while he was sleeping and woke them up.

According to the complaint, Zacarias was awakened by screams that he heard inside his home. The reason for this fight: the attacker thought that his brother had hidden money.

When Zacarías denounced Vinicios, he revealed that he was purple jiu-jitsu belt and said that he was "very aggressive". However, some time later abandoned the complaint. Three years after this event, her son would appear on the covers of all Brazilian media for almost killing a woman met on social networks and with whom he celebrated his first appointment that night.
