Australian authorities on Friday ordered the containment of the city of Perth and the neighboring region of Peel, in the west of the country, for three days after a local outbreak of COVID-19 on Friday. linked to a quarantine center for international travelers.

Authorities attribute the infection to the man, now isolated again in Melbourne, quarantined in Perth in a room attached to positive COVID-19 case.
