Daniil was taken to the hospital in Odessa in critical condition. He was diagnosed with 80% burns. It had been reported that only part of the young man's forehead, fingers and feet had escaped the disease.

Hospital staff said the baby became hoarseness because of constant crying caused by his excruciating pain.
