The Fair opened its doors this Thursday afternoon, with an act chaired by Gaido, Governor Omar Gutiérrez and his vice, Marcos Koopmann. The motto of this edition is “Free for books” and sYou will be able to visit until next Sunday, in the extended hours from 14 to 24. This exhibition was named “Marcelo Berbel”, in tribute to the civil servant who died in 2019 who promoted his creation.

“With this cutting of ribbons, we are opening the doors of a very important historical event, so that we value culture, writers, with a free methodology so that everyone can access it, ”announced the mayor. He also called on young people to come together because “education breeds freedom and freedom, like life, is the most important tool we have”.

He stressed that the Show is “a success from the first minute of the launch” and announced that they will be presented 70 writers from Neuquén during the four days of the exhibition.

The highlight of this edition will be the visit by historian Felipe Pigna on Sunday afternoon. He will give a talk at the end of the exhibition. Two days later, Tuesday at 11 am, in the Legislative Assembly Hall, he will give a presentation open to the public, titled “Women Should Be.”
