After six days of generating a controversy, Cali’s 501 traffic cop, identified as Oscar diaz, he apologized to the public for his behavior. The man appeared on September 12 in a video in which he claims he is sorry for acting with pride and for not respecting the wearing of the mask. In addition, he pointed out that the people with whom he had the altercation also attacked him.

To start, Díaz apologized for insulting the women who recorded the video where their behavior was exposed. The agent assured that it was not a reaction linked to the sex of the civilians and that he respects this population.

“To all women in general, a thousand and a thousand apologies. Remember I come from a woman, I love a woman, I have a woman daughter. I had female colleagues, female colleagues, female acquaintances and friends, ”Diaz said.

Once he apologized, the 501st agent proceeded to deliver his version of events. According to him, what happened that day was that in the middle of a document check procedure, he realized that the vehicle in which the women were traveling, which was being driven by a close to both, did not have the appropriate papers. . . In view of this, Díaz held the vehicle in place and that’s where the altercation began.

However, when the discussion gained momentum, it was not because of the car papers, but because Díaz was not wearing a mask at the time. The man refused to put it on and argued with the women.

He assures us that the women did not ask him to respect protocol nicely, but rather insulted him. According to him, the ladies are faking the facts.

“The lady started telling me that she was going to kick me out, that she has political friends and lives in Pance. He tells me poor, black and salaried and that I have to endure the sun to make money and he does not show any of this in the video, ”he concluded.

Finally, Díaz explained that he did not wear a mask because it causes an allergy. He assured that he would allegedly use it during the procedures and remove it later.
