The carnivals of Encarnación said goodbye with a night of pure brilliance

The incarnaceno carnival ended Saturday night with a show mixing dance, brightness and entertainment. According to data released on Sunday, the Pettirossi club won first place in the Comparsa category and the music group, while the Radioparque club won first place in the Carrozas category.

Carnivals, in its 2019 edition, were held five nights a year (Saturday) between January and February.

History

The beginnings of the carnival celebration in 1916, coinciding with the arrival of the railway Carlos Antonio López in the region, mark a before and after in the development of the history of the city. It also coincides with the migratory currents of the beginning of the century, mainly Italians who have much to do with the construction of the new buildings of the city; Encarnación, a city reborn on the banks of the Paraná River at a time when the river environment was of paramount importance. The organization of Corsos since 1988, presents variables; that year, it was organized by the municipality, in the year 1989 by an badociation of participating clubs, in 1990, it is again organized by the municipality; In 1991, the Encarnación Golf Club (CADE) and Rugby Club Encarnación (Rugby Club) are among them. In the year 1992, the Carnival Commission of Encarnación was established.
