The OSCE sent a team of 102 observers to monitor the elections in the United States, at the invitation of the country’s authorities. The mission will publish its findings once the review is complete.
In its statement, the OSCE said it feared the long-term consequences for American public opinion of the uncertainty and doubts that clouded this electoral process, while warning of the risk of radicalization.
The OSCE, made up of 57 nations, including the United States, Russia, Turkey and all European states, is one of the few forums for dialogue between the West and the former Soviet countries.
