Three people died as a result of the collision of an airplane with a car traveling on a highway. The tragic accident happened in Pembroke Pine, South Florida.
Of three dead of the accident one is boy traveling with woman in the car. Both had been transferred to Memorial Regional Hospital in Broward County, where the boy ultimately died.
The other deceased are the two occupants of the single-engine aircraft Beechcraft Bonanza who hit the car. The plane fell to the ground moments after taking off from North Perry Airport and, after colliding with the car, caught fire.
Parts of the plane were scattered near a neighborhood adjacent to that airport in the town of Pembroke Pine, located about 23 miles north of Miami.
Officials from the United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) have launched an investigation to determine the reasons for the crash. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) of that country will also participate in the investigation.
