This is the coliving, which moves to housing for young people and millennials the format coworking, which leases common spaces for the work of professionals, entrepreneurs and companies who are taking their first steps.
In this case, coliving offers furnished apartments, with all services (including Wireless) and maintenance; but also, with common areas and special activities for tenants.
This concept began years ago in London and is now progressing in the United States and Europe.
Fahad Siddiqui, dedicated to this activity in Europe through the collective, created Casa Campus in Argentina, with which he operates two buildings in the city of Buenos Aires and two others in Pilar, in the suburbs. Now he has four more in development.
These are buildings with an average of 70 apartments, mainly single rooms, with up to 600 square meters of common areas.
Next week, the executive will contact investors and operators of the real estate market of Cordoba to bring this format to the city.
"The idea is to have seven or eight other projects in the country and to be present in Rosario, Córdoba and Neuquén, because it is a practical format for the student, but also for professionals who work for multinationals. who have to spend six months or more in a city and for whom the hotel does not provide the best experience, "he said.
According to Siddiqui, in Buenos Aires, it offers investors a return of five to seven percent a year, double the return of traditional departments, because its size reduces service and maintenance costs.
The company operates its buildings. "The intention is to keep the monthly rent around market values, plus the cost of expenses and services, so that the tenant does not have to worry about anything." In Buenos Aires, about 25,000 pesos ", he warns.
