What exactly happened?

Rowe was on a flight from Kingston to Miami with his 8 year old son when the incident occurred.

The doctor stated that an air hostess had first asked her to get off the plane, before describing her attire as "inappropriate" and asking her if she had a jacket to "cover".

After attempts to defend her dress failed and her son became angry, Rowe felt compelled to put a blanket around her waist and return to her seat feeling "humiliated".

"For me, there has never been any empathy or excuse, no attempt to maintain my dignity in the whole situation," he told Buzzfeed News.

Prosecution and excuses

Rowe accused the airline of racism and discrimination with regard to his body type.

"We are being watched for being black," he writes in a tweet. "Our bodies are too badualized as women and we need to ADD them so that everyone around us feels comfortable," he added.

"I saw white women with shorts, much shorter, on board an airplane."

On Tuesday, the airline said that she had apologized to Rowe and her son and had repaid the trip.

"We were concerned about Ms. Rowe's comments and we contacted her and our team at Kingston Airport to gather more information about what happened," said a door. in a statement to the US media.
