The coronavirus now has one indisputable symptom, the “covid language”

Two years of stealth investigations in a public hospital in Madrid – La Paz – and in the primary care service and the Madrid health service have yielded conclusive results that have already been incorporated into the broad symptomatology of covid-19 and which have been colloquially summed up as “Covid Language”.

The study concludes that 25% of patients observed presented changes in the tongue and mouth, and 40% of them on the palms of the hands and the soles of the feet. The study represents “a breakthrough in the early detection of the coronavirus, as it adds to symptoms already described as scientific evidence linked to alterations in the tongue and palms and soles.”
Based on these results, they prepared the thesis Prevalence of cutaneous-mucous membrane manifestations, oral and palmoplantar observations, which was delivered in 2020 to the scientific journal British Journal of Dermatology and recently released.
