The tragic situation occurred when the little boy, identified as Dimas Mulkan Saputra, I was swimming with his younger brother on the banks of the Tempakul River in the Bemgalon District of East Kalimantan Province, while their father, Subliansyah, kept a close watch on them.
Suddenly the man saw how a huge crocodile, about five meters long, emerged and attacked the children, swallowing Dimas whole.

The man enlisted the help of neighbors and organized a search operation with the help of the National Search and Rescue Agency. The crocodile was found the next day, local residents and officers killed the predator and cut off his stomach to remove Dimas’ lifeless body, which was completely intact.
