In a moment, the adult bear appears to be trying to catch one of the dogs before the hostess rushes into the yard to save her pets.
The woman, who has only been identified as Hailey, ran bravely towards the bear and, without hesitation, shoved it. She then looked around the garden to make sure all of her dogs were okay, before grabbing the smaller dog and running back inside the house.
When the woman and her pets enter the house, the brown bear can be seen trying to climb the wall again, next to the tree at the back of the garden. On TikTok All of the dogs and the bear with her cub have been confirmed to be fine after the incident.
The video generated thousands of comments, with some praising the woman and others noting that the bear was probably trying to defend her cub.

The American black bear is native to Utah and typically lives in the wooded areas of the state. Biologists estimate there are around 4,000 black bears in the state, according to Zion National Park. Despite their name, they can be black, brown or beige. They are generally not aggressive, but rare attacks can occur on humans while foraging.
In 2007, for example, an 11-year-old boy was torn from his family’s tent and killed in rare bear attack in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah. The bear was then killed near the scene of the incident.
In 2019, a bear was captured and killed after scratching a boy camping near Hobble Creek Canyon in northern Utah.
