However, the proposal was rejected by Unicode, the cabinet responsible for auditing and coding the characters of the emojis catalog, also called emojipedia.
Finally, the new proposal, chosen by more than 55 thousand people got Unicode approval. Thus, the symbol of menstruation can be used in various social networks and applications around the world. from March.
The drop of blood will be part of a package of 230 new icons, which will include performances of hearing-impaired, prosthetic, visually impaired or wheelchair users.
