The Minister of Production, Dante Sica, has admitted to local terminal executives that the exchange race has affected the automotive industry, but badured that the year will end with a production of 860 thousand units and an increase of 20%.

The national official discussed with the terminals the advances of Plan 1 Millón and asked the terminals to "take care of their supply chain."
The Cabinet member met with the authorities of the Association of Automobile Factories (Adefa), with whom he reviewed the current situation of the sector and relations with Brazil.

Similarly, Sica acknowledged that although the currency crisis had an impact on the growth rate the year should end with a market of some 860,000 units and an increase in production of 20%.

The Challenge
"Our great challenge is to export more and more, we have we are very interested in an industry with greater specialization, scale and local integration," said the minister.
He asked the terminals "to continue to work on all the factors that make systemic competitiveness and in the opening of new markets more and more integrated into global value chains."
The official badured that the chain of payments in the sector was not cut off and asked the terminals to take care of their supply chain.

Meeting with Adefa [19659004] Sica informed the terminals about the meetings held in Brazil last Monday after the announcement of the Rota Plan 2030 and agreed to work together, Government and Industry, for the next Automotive Committee that will seek to advance by the end of July.
The national government has worked with terminals, autoparts, unions and provincial governments in the million dollar plan that aims to improve the competitiveness of industry and employment.
During the meeting, a revision of the agenda was made at the last plenary session of the round table of the automotive industry held in Córdoba in May. 1945.
Among other topics, progress has been made in the auto parts and supplier development sector, bureaucratic simplification, the opening of new markets and the fiscal aspects of the industry.

The sector has ratified investment plans around $ 5 billion for the three years that are underway under the Million Dollar Plan.
