With few specimens in the world, the Boeing 747 BBJ is the world’s largest private jet. And the one designed by Alberto Pinto can well be considered a flying mansion, a true work of art with wings.

Son of Argentinian parents, Alberto Pinto was born in Casablanca, between the Mediterranean and the North Atlantic Ocean. After leaving Morocco, he studied at the École du Louvre in Paris and in the 1970s moved to New York to start his photography studio. Until 2012, the year of his death, his life was linked to different expressions of art. And that touch is perhaps the most important reason her interiors are worthy of admiration.

In 2015, the firm Alberto Pinto, headed by his sister Linda, embarked on one of the most important and ambitious projects of his career: designing the interior of a huge private jet Boeing 747-8. Between the design itself and the construction of the pieces and decorations of the different spaces, the team took four years to complete their magnificent work. Like others, this recent creation of the Parisian company has taken the flight experience to another level.

“The owner – whose identity has not been disclosed – gave us carte blanche. He wasn’t interested in anything outrageously luxurious, with gold and diamonds. On the contrary, he asked us for something simple, this is where the real luxury lies. With the use of natural materials and a modern and soft design as a goal, the firm Alberto Pinto has achieved a surprising result. According to Pickardt, members of the Boeing team visited him and They claimed it was one of the most beautiful planes they had ever seen.

From the nose of the plane, under the cockpit, is the main room. Far from any hum of the turbines, it is an ideal environment to relax and rest as on dry land.

Without having to leave the room, occupants can relax in a mini-lounge designed in harmony with the rest of the environment. It has a comfortable sofa, a coffee table and details that combine light pastel colors.

From the bedroom on the upper floor, a luxurious fireplace reminiscent of a five-star hotel surprises. A stair ivory color pairs perfectly with the rug, artwork and warm wood accent panels.

On the upper floor we find another comfortable living room with a large TV screen. Designed as a living room for children, Those lucky enough to fly on the plane will be able to entertain themselves within the framework of a luxurious set of furniture.

But so that no one forgot that this magnificent design is part of an airplane, the seating area has been brought into harmony with the rest of the place. Covered in brown leather and with comfortable tables, the place designed for travel is much more than cozy.

Still on top of the Boeing 747-8, Alberto Pinto’s design team dedicated part of the place to doing business. A meeting room has four chairs, a table to display laptops, documentation, and a disturbing background library.
