Then he was private secretary of Cristina Kirchner and became the featured consultant of Daniel Muñoz and the man of trust. Bunin came to the Kirchner's home through his mother, former nurse of Florencia Kirchner. In 2005, he began working with the then Senator, Cristina Kirchner, who appointed him private secretary as soon as he badumed the presidency. In his own statement before Judge Claudio Bonadio, he presented a fact until then unknown: Between 2003 and 2005, he worked in the Intelligence Secretariat (formerly SIDE). In December 2011, Bounine has stepped aside. He was "tired of politics" and had the intention of "forming a family".

It was not long before embarking on private activity. He first opened a consulting firm with Pablo Fernando Sama. In this office located in San Martín 569, he had at least one meeting with Campillo. And then they met at Muñoz's house.

Before justice, Bunin gave another version of these meetings: He said that Campillo's intention was to return to the government: "He wanted to be part of the government of Cristina Fernández de Kirchner. Campillo and Bunin had known each other since the time of Santa Cruz. The first had given work to Bunine's mother and sister in the provincial treasury. When they saw each other again, mistrust was reciprocal. The former secretary of Cristina wrote to him by telegram until they coordinate the first meeting.

In July 2012, Bounine created the real estate agency "Epico Propiedades" with his partner, the clerk Cecilia Alejandra Velasco. Both own 83% of the share capital. After Muñoz's death, Bunin continued to grow. In 2017, he created a software company in the province of Mendoza with Sebastián Rasilla, Gustavo Campana, Juan Manuel Peña and Oscar Campana.

Municoy met Bounine at Muñoz's and again met in the intensive therapy waiting room of the German hospital, two days before the death of the former private secretary of Néstor . "
