President Alberto Fernndez assured that the goal of the national government is to reach next winter “with 13 million people at risk vaccinated” against the coronavirus.

“Now we are going to be able to enter a higher vaccination rate, to reach the winter with 13 million people at risk vaccinated, because for me it is an obsession that they do it”, said Fernández in a interview with the C5N chain.

The president indicated that the government had made with the Russian Federation “a schedule of deliveries every week, in addition to the arrival of three million doses of Sinopharm and 580,000 of AstraZneca”.

He said the country “has produced the active ingredient for 20 million doses, which are in Mexico.”

In the health ministry report, 241 deaths and 5,058 new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in the past 24 hours.
