Vizzotti underlined during the videoconference “the importance of these studies for our country and the world” and invited the researchers to present the study and the results which motivated the approval in front of representatives of the National Medicines Administration , food and medical technology (Anmat) and the National Vaccination Commission (CoNaIn).

“Although children and adolescents generally suffer from mild Covid-19 disease, it is essential to advance their individual protection, which will have an indirect benefit in older populations who are at greater risk of complications and death” , explained the minister.
