From the ministry, they specified that the regional economies concerned by the decision “directly involve 192,000 workers throughout the national territory., an industry which represents 41% of employment in the agri-food industry and which contributes daily to territorial equity ”.
The production chains that no longer have export retention are aquaculture, beekeeping, horticultural products (tomato, peppers, onion, garlic, leeks, asparagus, etc.), mushrooms, olives, pisingallo corn, legumes, potatoes and cassava, nuts, tropical fruits, citrus fruits, fresh grapes and raisins, fine fruits, pears and apples, and seeds, among others.
