In the midst of divergences between the Minister of Production and Labor, Dante Sica, and the Secretary of the Government of Agri-Food, Luis Miguel Etchevehere, regarding the allocation of export quotas, today the resolutions have been published 20/2019, 21/2019 and 24/2019 in the Official Journal.

The Secretary of the Government of the Agri-Food Sector established the procedure for the distribution of 5,000 tonnes of boneless beef for export to the United States. Remember that the annual quota granted by the US market is 20 000 tonnes.

As stated in resolution 21/2019, refrigeration companies and producer groups participating in the distribution system must meet the following requirements:

– Human persons must have a legal domicile in our country and legal persons must be legally established in the country in accordance with the regulations in force.

In the case of legal entities, the corporate purpose must be related to the marketing and / or production of meat.

-Have a registration in progress at the Single Register of Operators of the Agro-Industrial Chain (RUCA).

– Senasa must allow refrigeration facilities to produce and / or process and export meat products in the United States.

In addition, access the export certificate, refrigeration companies and producer groups must complete Procedures of distance (TAD) via the platform in the form called "US Vaccine Fee – Certification", in the form of an affidavit, and accompany the following documentation:

– Customs document that certifies that the export is complete (transport permit).

Commercial document (invoice E).

– Sanitary document published by SENASA.

Once the above requirements have been met, the procedure will be considered "pending" and requests that are not accompanied by documentation or inconsistencies in the information presented will be "rejected".

Export certificates must be issued within three days of the documentation submitted by the exporters. Finally, from the Agri-Food Secretariat, a tariff quota of 3,650 tonnes was distributed to groundnut processors to export peanut paste to the United States and beef to Colombia for 824.75 tonnes from 9 refrigeration companies.
