The great Argentine failure | Government, Elections 2019, Poverty

During an election year and with the particular condiments with which Argentina lives today in electoral matters, It is clear that for a few moments we should leave the past behind and think that this is really what we want for our society from now on. We expose this complex but basic dilemma to debate every four years, without exception. And this debate leads us to find ourselves at each election in the dilemma of walking towards a capitalist country (although we have never succeeded) or to go faster towards a socialist country (but without paying the consequences of such a senseless decision). In this context, history should not be different from previous electoral processes.

What we still do not understand is the threshold of decline that our country can face. Maybe it's 50% poverty, hyperinflation or even a high unemployment rate could define it. Nobody knows it. The only certainty lies in the fact that indicators such as those of today (33% of poverty, 55% of annual inflation, 11% of unemployment and a stagnation of GDP per capita since 2011 ) it makes us think that the crossroads we go through every four years stillit will be mistakes that will become more and more expensive.

In Argentina, we are still debating the goals we want. In the world, this discussion has remained in the past: the world that grows, develops and advances coincides with the countries that have defined where they want to go.. We are falling into decay, those who have a clear horizon prosper and systematically evacuate people from poverty.

In spite of this disastrous reality with which we must live, those who claim to lead the executive power on December 10th continue to offer exactly the same thing as in the past has been the springboard to the current decline. Put money in people's pockets, offer free medicine to all retirees, do not face debt commitments, import substitution and other illusions that, if they were applied , would represent only another step forward towards the Third World Gulf, with more poverty and stagnation, lower levels of education, more inflation and, even worse, a new lost opportunity to do so. this country a serious country.

The failure is attributable to virtually the entire society and especially to each of them who represented us. Here there are no exclusivities: responsibility belongs to all. Over the past 16 years, we have witnessed the Kirchnerist devastation and the tireless mistakes of the ruling party, which have only aggravated our voluptuous decline, a decline that has raged for nearly eighty years that, many Argentines will choose again among those who in one way or another have pushed us here.

If we want past, we will have pbaded. In the past, it will be nothing but our unfortunate present. If what we want is the future, we must begin by knowing what we want as a country, not repeating the mistakes of the past, leaving once and for all this disease responsible for all our sins, this disease that has disappeared, this disease that has plunged us into the worst of us, this disease that has only one name: this disease called populism.
