The holiday calendar of 2020 was known: there will be three days of "bridge"

The national government has announced the holidays of 2020, in which there will be three of the "bridges", to promote tourism, which will take place on March 23, July 10 and December 7.

There will also be many more days considered as non-working days, while 11 will be real estate holidays.

By decree 7.177 / 19 published in the Official Journal, the executive branch has formalized the holiday calendar for next year, for example the carnival will be held on Monday 24 and Tuesday 25 February.

The complete holiday calendar in 2020 has been designed as follows: 1st of January: New Year; February 24th: carnival; February 25th: carnival; March 23: festival of Puente; March 24: National Day of Remembrance for Truth and Justice; April 2: Veterans Day and fallen soldiers in the Falklands War; April 10: Good Friday; May 1st: Labor Day; May 25: Day of the May Revolution; June 17: Immortality Day of General Martín de Güemes; June 20: Day of the immortality of General Manuel Belgrano; July 9: Independence Day; July 10: festival of Puente; August 17: step towards the immortality of General José de San Martín; October 12: Day of respect for cultural diversity; November 18: National Sovereignty Day; December 7: Feast of Puente; December 8: Immaculate Conception of Mary; and December 25th: Christmas.

National holidays govern the legal rules for Sunday rest, that is, if the employee provides services on that day, he or she must charge twice a day, whereas working days are optional. This means that if you work, the employee will receive your single salary.

By Executive Order 923/2017, the executive branch has defined "non-working days" as "the establishment of holidays and extended weekends", specifying that they may be "set annually up to three (3) public holidays or non-business days to promote the activity ". tourist, which must coincide with the days Monday or Friday.
