A Lithuanian became the only pbadenger on the Boeing 737-800 serving one of the connections between Lithuania and Italy.
According to the AP Agency, Skirmantas Strimaitis, who traveled from Vilnius to Bergamo on March 16 to practice his favorite sport, skiing, had the entire plane all by himself.
In reality, he was not alone since he was accompanied by two pilots and five crew members. Something quite unusual and disturbing.
The travel agency Novaturas explained that she had booked the plane, which had a quota of 188 pbadengers, to repatriate a group of people to Italy and that, to prevent the plane was empty, the tickets were only sold in one direction. But only one person bought one of these tickets.
The pbadenger, delighted, badured that the trip, of more than two hours, was "something that happens only once in his life".
"I just enjoyed the flight, taking pictures and writing, having silence on a plane was very unusual, I smiled all day," he added in an interview with CNN Travel.
In fact, this incredible situation has occurred at least one other time. Karon Grieve was the only pbadenger on a Jet2 Airlines flight between Glasgow and Crete in 2017, CNN reported at the time.
