The Ministry of Defense of the Islamic Republic of Iran has introduced a new long-range cruise missile called "Hoveize", made locally and tested with"successful"

The Minister of Defense, General Amir HatamiHe said that this new missile "has a range of over 1,350 kilometers and is used against fixed terrestrial targets", reported the local Iranian news agency ISNA.

Hatami explained as characteristics of "Hoveize"preparation and rapid reaction, the low altitude of the flight, the high accuracy of navigation, the scope of the objective and the power of destruction.

"The flight test was conducted over a distance of 1,200 kilometers and accurately targeted predetermined targets.", detailed Hatamí.

The Islamic Republic of Iran presents these achievements at the Summit 40th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic revolutionwhich will be commemorated on February 11th.

The defense minister explained that Iran has managed to achieve this goal despite US sanctions.

Iran's ballistic missile programs were one of the reasons given by the US president, Donald Trump, withdrawing its country from the 2015 multilateral nuclear agreement in May and reimposing sanctions on Tehran on April 7.

The Iranian authorities, for their part, their missiles have only a defensive and dissuasive characterand refuse to negotiate on this delicate issue.
