The news of Lonzo Ball's knee injury that surfaced last week coincided with rumors that the Lakers guard was on the trading block.
According to an ESPN report, this is not a coincidence.
Yahoo Sports reported on June 29, Ball had a torn meniscus in his left knee. While he should be ready for the training camp, the news of the injury has certainly not helped his commercial value.
And some in the Lakers organization believe that's why the news came out, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN
