2020 was the year marked by the coronavirus, the pandemic, the confinement and the consequences of this disease and the problems it caused in the world. But 2021 has arrived and, hand in hand with the different vaccine options which are already starting to be disseminated and applied, there is light at the end of the road.

In Spain, with the serums from Moderna and Pfizer, many have started to receive the injections that will eventually put an end to the Covid-19 pandemic. A Twitter user reported that the vaccine had been applied and wrote, in all capitals, * I TEACH ABOUT THE SIDE EFFECTS THAT GENERATED ME *“.
This first message already received about 70 thousand likes, 12 thousand RTs and more than 400 responses. But what was meant to be a long thread ended up being a joke, a critique of those who talk about the possible risks of vaccines created in record time.
“It hurt a bit to take the bandage off because it had stuck to my skin a lot,” @AnnDesola added in a second post to conclude his story with a third tweet in which he closed the thread.
The post, in addition to going viral, has received numerous posts of support, most criticizing anti-vaccines or responding to those who talk about long-term side effects.
“People who laugh at the side effects a vaccine can give in the medium to long term, are you the same who laughed and said covid was the flu? For guiding me, ”wrote Alberto Vilches Pérez.

Ana Hidalgo Gámez replied: “We don’t think there are medium / long term side effects because there is no virus inside. Being with messenger RNA, they are not expected. And there are already several people vaccinated for more than 6 months (the volunteers) and there are no side effects. “
Others, however, referred to the visible effects “in a few years”. @DPreseguer has confirmed, without hesitation, that IThe author of the tweet will be dead in 100 years.
There were also those who spoke of a particular case, such as that of a “nurse who died two days after receiving the vaccine”. But the same users of the social network were in charge of replying to these tweets.
Faced with the comment that “the vaccine has not been shown to be effective and has no irreversible side effects”, the response is overwhelming: “all of the people who received the first smallpox vaccine in 1798 have died.”
