Contrary to the world average, BYMA's Merval index rose slightly this Friday by 0.2% to 29,259.02 units, ending another very good week, in which it accumulated a gain of 5.9% in pesos.

The main panel recorded its second consecutive week with increases, which allowed it to accumulate a 12.5% ​​increase in pesos over the month (the largest since January), and 19% in dollars, up to now its best monthly positive change up here this year.

On this Friday, the main increases reached them Loma Negra (+ 4.1%); Edenor (-3.8%); and Cablevisión (-2.8%). Among the victims appeared Metrogas (-2.5%); Grupo Financiero Valores (-2.1%); and Ternium (-1.7%).

Unlike Merval, the main Wall Street indexes closed in the fall due to fear on next Wednesday , the Fed issued a statement declaring a strong growth of the US economy, with an annual inflation of 2%. In the securities segment fixed income, the main dollar securities (quoted in pesos) worked differently, while bonds traded in hard currency climbed up to 1.9%

Among the first, Global 2037 advanced 0, 8%; centenary bonus increased by 0.1%; and the discount has gone up to 0.7%. But the Bonar 2024 fell by 0.1% and Bonar 2020 by 0.3%.

Meanwhile, peso bonds that adjust for the CER (inflation) closed with increases, differing from the 9.9% increase reached the discount. In addition, the Badlar bond obligations ended with increases of up to 3.8%, as in the case of Argentina 2022.

In contrast, the country risk, measured by the bank JP Morgan, dropped by 551 basis points, new minimum in one month.
