The National Assembly of Venezuela has appointed ambassadors in a dozen countries in America

As part of Tuesday's regular session, the National Assembly of Venezuela (NA), by a majority of the opposition, has appointed the country's new diplomatic representatives in a dozen countries of the Americas.

Parliament appointed, at the request of the Acting President Juan Guaidó, to the representatives of Argentina, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Honduras, Panama, Peru, the United States and Lima Group.

"A Venezuelan is absolutely right where there is (…) Venezuelans, there are his representatives appointed around the world, wherever you are, we miss you," he said in front of the camera .

During the meeting on Tuesday, the National Assembly also addressed the following issues: the draft law on the status of the transition to democracy and the restoration of the validity of the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela; the draft agreement rejecting the killings and arbitrary arrests of peaceful protesters by state security organs; the draft agreement for the promotion of the country rescue plan; and the debate on free and transparent elections as a final phase of the proposed route by this National Assembly for the restoration of constitutional order and the rescue of democracy.

Ecuador: René de Sola Quintero

United States: Carlos Vecchio
