The Nevados volcano of Chillán expelled lava early in the morning

The National Geological and Mining Service of Chile reported Sunday that there "existed an explosion badociated with the recording of seismic signals and an incandescent badociated with the emission of gases and pyroclastic materials".

This material, as indicated, was "deposited in the area near the active crater and the technical warning of Naranja remains".

Meanwhile, civil protection has been on yellow alert for over a year in case evacuations are needed.

That of this dawn is the third earthquake with an eruption in seven days, since Monday and Tuesday the seismic movements pbaded in the same direction and the expulsion of volcanic material were recorded.
