Ricardo Jaime is facing a new oral and public trial for alleged fraud in the public administration in the railway undertaking Belgrano Cargas because of incorrect payments and suspicions of overvaluation

Jaime "would have promoted the work plan with an unjustified advance and a surplus of the initial amount" of the commissioning of the railway Belgrano Cargas, for which it is suspected that they were paid more than $ 2 million in bonuses.

The widow of the late trade unionist José Pedraza Graciela Coria is currently being judged with the former secretary of transport; the president of Belgrano Cargas Ángel Stafforini; SOESA President Luigi Capelli and the executor of the National Transport Regulatory Commission Pedro Ochoa Romero.

The former secretary, sentenced to eight years in prison for the Once railway tragedy, to which another gift had been added, was present in the courtroom. He was transferred from Ezeiza Prison, where he has been held since April 2016 for another reason.

The trial took place in the living room located in the basement of the Comodoro Py court, where Jaime was escorted by members of the Special Intervention Group of the Federal Prison Service and in front of the Federal Oral Court.

Initially, it was going to be a mega oral and public trial where several facts were going to be judged: one for the illicit enrichment of Jaime and his chiefs; another where he is accused with the former Federal Planning Minister, Julio De Vido, of having bought trains to Spain and Portugal, where excessive prices are suspected; and two other cases for embezzlement crime.

Finally, the Court 6 only started the trial for the fact related to Belgrano Cargas. Since the other defendants in which there are other defendants has been postponed because Manuel Vazquez, former adviser to Jaime at the secretariat of transport, is suffering from serious health problems.
