Work was underway this Friday morning on the emergency use authorization, as officially announced by FDA Commissioner Stephen M. Hahn and the Director of the Center for Biological Assessment and Research (CBER), Peter Marks.

“The agency also notified the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention of the United States and Operation Warp Speed, so that they can execute their plans for the timely distribution of the vaccine,” they detailed.
