The president has increased his holdings by more than 50% and Dujovne is the richest minister

President Mauricio Macri has presented his affidavit for 2018, with badets exceeding 151 million pesos. This is an increase in badets over 51% over the previous year, according to the sworn statement that the head of state presented to the anti-corruption bureau and in which he explained to have badets for $ 151,688,684.18 and not owning the debts

As for his cabinet, the one with the least badets among the ministers is his boss, Marcos Peña, who has seen his badets increase anyway, from $ 651,805 to $ 974,257.

But in cabinet, there were several ministers whose inheritance was developed in the same way as that of Macri. This "ranking" is led by Nicolás Dujovne (Treasury), Oscar Aguad (Defense), Patricia Bullrich (Security), Jorge Faurie (Chancery) and Germán Garavano (Justice).

The document shows that 75% of the Head of State's estate consists of titles and titles: $ 114,830,232 in total. The affidavit does not include the badets that the president has included in the "blind trust" that he created in April 2016, with the goal of ensuring "greater transparency" to his leadership. Macri will not be able to dispose of these goods until six months after leaving office.

In his previous presentation, Macri had declared badets of $ 99,876,155.31. On this occasion, the increase over 2016 was 21% since it was $ 82,602,401.68.

This is the first time that the growth of Macri's shares has exceeded inflation (it was 47.6% according to INDEC) since the presentation of the previous declaration.

In addition, the head of state said to have a stake in six properties, for more than 26 million pesos: 30% of an apartment with garage in the federal capital, of approximate value $ 3,207,591; 100% of land in the town of Pluma Pato, Salta, for $ 4,622,552; and 25% of three lots in Pilar, for $ 880,486 each.

Part of the capital increase is explained in the property that Macri already owned in Maldonado, Uruguay: in 2017, its valuation, according to the DDJJ, was $ 7,419,600. The value of the dollar, according to the latest affidavit, is $ 15 million.

Dujovne did well

Dujovne was about to double his badets in pesos: he had declared 218,354,834 dollars, about 100 million more than in 2017, when he had recorded 121,444,586 dollars. The variation, according to the affidavit, is due to the appreciation of the same badets (foreign properties, dollar accounts and shares) reported the previous year: this difference, if any is around 75 million pesos. .

Similarly, the increase in their badets in pesos is explained by the ministers who beat inflation: Oscar Aguad ($ 6,433,838 to $ 11,452,002), Patricia Bullrich ($ 5,964,512 to $ 11,807,749) ), Germán Garavano (from $ 6,285,675 to 13,710,622); and Jorge Faurie ($ 12,588,744 to $ 23,999,306). Everyone has savings in dollars, which have risen sharply over the period.

In contrast, Dante Sica (Production) of Plata saw his goods reduced. Sica, who joined the firm in mid-June last year, rose from 33,238,537 USD in 2017 to 31,531,078 USD in 2018. And Guillermo Dietrich (Transportation) has gone from 6,649,264 USD in 2017 to 8,410,630 USD in 2018.
