The President of the Philippines was interrupted in full speech by a huge cockroach!

The President of the Philippines, Rodrigo Duterte, was surprised Wednesday by a badroach who appeared on his shoulder in the middle of a campaign speech.

A horrified attendant tried to eliminate the bug, but the badroach escaped to the chest of the president.

In the end, it's Duterte himself who he removed it at one stroke and then crushed, according to the Manila Times .

True to his style, Duterte came out of this uncomfortable moment with a joke and accused the insect of being a member of the opposition. "She's liberal, of course," he says, causing a happy laugh.
