The State of New York has strengthened security in synagogues after filming in California

"New York mourns the families of the victims and the wounded in this terrible shooting", Cuomo said in a statement.

"As a precaution, I ordered the state police to increase security in synagogues and places of prayer throughout the state" said the governor.

The shooting occurred in a synagogue in the American city of Poway, 30 kilometers north of San Diego, the last day of Pbadover.

Cuomo recalled that the shooting had occurred six months after the first anniversary of another shooting in a synagogue in the city of Pittsburgh. (Pennsylvania, USA) who left eleven dead.

The alleged perpetrator of the shooting was identified as John Earnest, a 19 year old white boy, who left an anti-Semitic manifesto written on social networks in which he acknowledges that he was inspired by the March 15 mbadacre in New Zealand last month.

A total of 50 people were killed and as many injured when a white supremacist shot people in two mosques.

The author of this mbadacre, identified as being Brenton Tarrant, At 28, he had published a manifesto on social networks with pejorative ratings against Muslims.
