Two Argentines on vacation in Cambodia, Southeast Asia, were stranded in this country after a criminal robbed them of a backpack with all the paperwork and money they had for their holidays .

Renata Segal (26) and Leila Suaya (24) said the situation was complicated by the fact that Cambodia did not have an Argentinean embbady, ​​which prevents them from processing documents and asking for l & # 39; help.

In a video posted on Instagram, the girls reported that the robbery took place while riding a bicycle in one of the city's famous temples.

"We arrived in a very touristy place in Cambodia, where there is a well-known temple.We went on vacation for a total of three months, all along the trip," the girls told Chronicle.

According to them, in the last few hours they have maintained contact with Hernán Rinaldi, Argentine consul in Thailand, but they still do not know when they will be able to leave Cambodia.

"The place is extremely dangerous, very dirty, all black and there are a lot of flights," explained the girls about the destination they chose to go on vacation.
