The United States has already applied over 93 million doses of the coronavirus vaccine and successfully immunized 10% of its population

To date, the United States has successfully implemented certain 93 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, succeed in vaccinating 10% of its population, according to the count this Tuesday by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), which depends on the government.

A total of 123,232,775 doses were delivered, of which 93,692,598 have already been applied. Within this last group, 61,088,527 people, 18.4% of the population, received at least one dose of the vaccine. Of the 123,232,775 doses delivered to the US federal government, 59,046,975 (47.9%) correspond to the Pfizer / BioNTech vaccine, 60,875,300 (49.4%) to Moderna and 3,310,500 to Johnson & Johnson (2.7%).

Out of the total applied (93,692,598 or 76% of those delivered)In contrast, 47,628,226 (51%) correspond to the Pfizer / BioNTech vaccine, 45,635,740 (48.7%) to Moderna, 308,181 (0.33%) to Johnson & Johnson and 120,451 (0.17%) could not be identified by the CDC.

The statistics correspond to the vaccination campaign conducted by the Federal Government of the United States, and include doses applied in clinics, pharmacies (including those found in large supermarket chains), elderly care centers, special centers established by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and other establishments federal used for this purpose.

The White House has announced that it will also send in the coming days 15.8 million doses of Pfizer / BioNTech and Moderna to 50 state governments and pharmacies not affiliated with the federal program to manage your request.

According to Jen Psaki, press secretary for President Joe Biden’s government, On average, 2.7 million doses per day are sent to the various vaccination centers.

The increasing rate of vaccination added a decrease in daily cases which brought some relief to the country most affected by the pandemic in the world with 29 million infections and 525,186 deaths.

Even at this vaccination rate the United States is expected to completely inoculate its entire adult population by May, two months earlier than expected by the Biden administration.
