United States works for Offer COVID-19 booster shots to Americans with weakened immune systems as quickly as possible, as coronavirus cases continue to rise, the country’s leading infectious disease expert said Thursday, Antoine Fauci.

COVID cases increased by around 43% from the previous week and daily deaths have increased by more than a 39%, according to the director of the CDC, Rochelle Walensky, who also spoke on the call.
United States peaked in six months in new COVID cases with more than 100,000 infections reported on Wednesday, according to a statement from the agency Reuters.
