Over the past few weeks, the investigation into the Lola Chomnalez case has regained its strength: after having continued to remand "El Cachila" as a co-perpetrator of the crime, the Uruguayan judiciary has for the first time described the murder of this girl of 15 years.

On Thursday, Uruguayan judge Rocha, Rossana Ortega, presented the chase car of 33-year-old suspect Angel Moreira, aka "El Cachila". It is in this document that two possible sequences of the crime occurred in 2014 at the spa of Barra de Valizas are described.

In the letter, before presenting the scenarios, the magistrate recalls the facts already demonstrated: on December 28, 2014, in the afternoon, the teenager walked along the beach of Valizas towards the beach Aguas Dulces when she discovered with a man (one of the interrogated) who walked in the opposite direction. He offered her stamps for sale and they started talking.

"We do not see why the girl went to the place where the tragedy occurred," warned the judge before presenting the possible sequences of the crime offered by a specialist in medicine legal.

In principle, Justice manages two possible sequences:

1. "The sequence of the badault may have been the following: the attacker approaching him from behind, L (Lola) is trying to escape to the bushes, l & # 39; Reached him, took him from behind and cut him only very deeply, he confronts her and receives the light punch in the left fronto-temporal region, falls on the sand and, although it is not attaches to the branches and rolls without defending himself, adopting the flexion position, lateralized to the right as found, he is leaning against the sand He dies, he is covered with sand, although he is not buried and when the body is found, the gluteal area is visualized with his denim shorts ".

2 – "Another sequence could be: L. returning to Valizas, he faces the aggressor who strikes him for the first time in the fronto-temporal region, L. goes to the dunes, is reached from behind wounded and then tightened in the sand "

The certainties

For Ortega, the truth is that, "using Lola's helplessness," after suffering a first attack, the girl was held in a secluded spot between Barra de Valizas and Aguas Dulces, an area of dunes located in a wooded area.

In his letter, the judge quotes the testimony of Moreira and ensures that his version is not credible. "El Cachila" told the court that Lola had fainted and died. However, the tests carried out on the girl's body revealed violence and physical abuse: she was hit in the face, had a cut on her neck and was leaning against the sand, face down, which caused her death during the inhalation of sand.

"It is therefore clear that the cause of death was caused by the fact that the victim was held against the ground, sucking and swallowing sand, found in his airways, bronchial tubes, trachea and oral cavity, which proves that that he tried to smother him against the ground. Thus, the incredible explanation that the researcher is trying to explain about a simple fainting of Lola does not understand the logic nor the evidence gathered, "said Ortega in the indictment.

But, furthermore, he baderted that there was expert evidence showing that there was more than one aggressor: "The one who was the object of a survey with other people – whose identity will continue to be sought – kept the girl in the aforementioned place, where she was wounded, several in the body, and finally death . "

On this scenario, although the motive of the case is still unknown, the magistrate showed a new certainty at the outcome of the investigation: "El Cachila" is the co-author of the crime "of homicide aggravated for treachery".
