The White House has imposed more sanctions on companies in Venezuela and Cuba

A week ago, the White House adopted similar measures against two other companies and 24 vessels belonging to the national oil company Petróleos de Venezuela, which participate in the same type of operations.

This measure came hours after US Assistant Secretary of State John Sullivan compared the humanitarian crisis in Venezuela to that of Rohingya refugees, who were forced to leave Burma between 2016 and 2017.
