This July 20, 2021, marches will take place across the country, after three months of national strike. Despite the fact that the protests have not summoned the same number of people as since they started in April, those on Tuesday are expected to be massive. Bogota

In the capital of Colombia, the marches will start from 07h00 in parts of the city. According to Luis Ernesto Gómez, secretary of the government, 35 peaceful activities are known which have been promoted by social and youth organizations, as well as by the Unemployment Committee.

“The appeal is not just for district level organizations, some are local gatherings associated with music and culture, and the most numerous will be registered in the center of the city ”, assured Gómez.

Unions and centrals in the capital of Antioquia have called for a cultural revival with varied music and a concentration in the eastern sector of Parques del Río, between the smart building of public enterprises in Medellín and the Metropolitan Theater. They will start at 10:00 a.m. and until 5:00 p.m.

The Resistance Union of Cali announced that the main meeting points for demonstrators in the capital of Valle del Cauca are: Calipso, Paso del Comercio, Sameco, Universidad del Valle.

Barranquilla

The main social and trade union organizations in the capital of the Atlántico will start the march on Paseo Bolívar at 9:00 am with a wreath for Simón Bolívar. They will depart from this location at the Universidad del Atlántico on Carrera 43. On the other hand, on Avenida Murillo with Carrera 8, the students will meet at 1:00 pm.

Bucaramanga

In the capital of Santander there will be two different days. One will start at 9:00 am in the Parque de Los Niños, where an assembly called by the CUT will be held, which will later arrive at García Rovira Park.

The next concentration will be student-led and will start at 2:00 p.m. in Parque San Pío, go through race 27 and end with a sit-in at the Industrial University of Santander.
