The irruption of coronavirus generated that many activities carried out daily must mutate and transform. One of them is education as the classes developed in virtual mode.

In one of these virtual classrooms, a teacher from Mexico, without realizing that she had the microphone on, called her students “donkeys” and the footage went viral.

Norma Hernández Urquidi She teaches at Professor Federico Berrueto Ramón Secondary School in the city of Saltillo in the Mexican state of Coahuila. Without cutting a video call on Microsoft Teams, the teacher called a colleague. And in that speech, something happened that was widely commented on on social media.

Hernández Urquidi was talking about the performance of his students with a colleague. While explaining that only a few managed to be successful, he used a derogatory term to refer to young people.

“Damn huercos (donkeys) they give me nothing, no mothers And then let me tell you something else, they send me messy jobs. I won’t see them like this again“, begins the professor in his discharge of anger.
